libmariadbclient and mariadb-clients

When I tried

pacman -Syu

I got the following error.

:: Starting full system upgrade...
resolving dependencies...
looking for conflicting packages...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: mariadb-clients: installing libmariadbclient (10.1.32-1.0) breaks dependency 'libmariadbclient=10.1.31'

How is this possible?  Aren't these packages supposed to be "automatically" upgraded at the same time?

they are both in testing, does the issue still persist (and yes, they _should_ be updated simultanously, but it's not working yet)
