Hi,
Reinstalling a new computer but I can't proceed with gimp as it needs openexr, which requires ilmbase, a dependency that cannot be satisfied.
Any workaround?

That's weird. We had in in the pentium4 repos at least the last time I updated gimp (which was back on Sep 24th), or at the very least I've had ilmbase installed since May 3rd, and it was built Oct 17th 2018 (I rebuilt this OS in mid March, so I guess that's when I first needed GIMP).
Edit: You can get an old ilmbase from https://archive.archlinux32.org/packages/i/ilmbase/
That should be enough to get GIMP installed, and it seems to be the same version that I have (the release date is newer than the claimed build date on my machine, but perhaps that was built in Oct 2018, but only released in April this year)
