Yeah, sorry. There are just too many weird issues with Xorg drivers. Without owning the hardware and using gdb on 'X' it's really
hard to debug the issue.
abort is a C-abort inside the driver code, so the author of the driver made assumptions, which are now no longer valid.
This usually means the bug has to be brought to the attention of the original author of the driver and be fixed upstreams.
If I find something useful, I'll post it in the original thread..
