Hi,
First of all, thank you for maintaining archlinux alive for 32 bits machines.
I wanted to report (I tried opening a task in flyspray, but I did not seem to have the rights) a problem with the eclipse-common packages: it contains 64 bit binaries. Just do a "readelf -h" on any binary (/usr/lib/eclipse/eclipse) and you will see somthing like "Class: ELF64" instead of ELF32. For the time being I am using the old archlinux i686 eclipse packages.
Thank you.

oops, I corrected the source (upstream just put x86_64 binary sources into the arch independent "source" array) - the next built package should come with 32 bit binaries .
Also, I promoted you to "Reporter" on our bug tracker.

I installed the 4.9.1 last week and the problem still remains. Is there a 32Bit version of the eclipse-cpp version still available?

As far as I know, 32-bit is no longer supported upstream, you have to compile your own version or use 2018-09/R..

I haven't done this so far so it would be very nice, if you could point me in the right direction; where to find the sources, how to build the package :-) Thanks in advanced!
