Hello User,
i have installed my LXQt-archlinux year 2018.
LXQt archlinux32
/dev/sda5 ~ 47%
LXQt Debian 10, installed Jan 2020, without headers
df -h
Dateisystem Größe Benutzt Verf. Verw% Eingehängt auf
udev 954M 0 954M 0% /dev
tmpfs 195M 5,9M 189M 4% /run
/dev/sda5 20G 4,8G 14G 27% /
tmpfs 971M 15M 957M 2% /dev/shm
tmpfs 5,0M 4,0K 5,0M 1% /run/lock
tmpfs 971M 0 971M 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
/dev/sda6 20G 149M 18G 1% /home
tmpfs 195M 8,0K 195M 1% /run/user/1000
I have installed nearly the same software.
Why is there a so big different?
Should i maintenance my archlinux32 hdd?
Can i delete old fragments?
At 2018 my LXQt archlinux32 was very small.
"pacman -Scc" i do every time.
Thank's

At a guess, archlinux includes headers by default. You don't need to install the *-dev packages like you do in debian to be able to build anything. In my experience, using debian (even the gnome editions) you tend to need a lot of free space when you start, since they will grow very quickly, compared to archlinux which gives you a lot more out of the box, especially if you're any kind of coder.
Architecture: pentium4, Testing repos: Yes, Hardware: EeePC 901+2GB RAM+OS half on the SD card.

I don't understand; where has that free space come from if it hasn't actually cleaned your /var/cache/pacman/? What do you get it you do '# ls /var/cache/pacman/pkg|wc -l'?
