What is the planned schedule for rebuilding opensc package ?
I dont know if this a right place for my question. Starting from November some electronic ID-cards don't work with current opensc 0.17.0 package (built on 06. Sept. 17) anymore. For now there are patches already available in git and are merged to master branch. I think for first it's easier to ask here for planned schedule, before starting to compile temporary build.
Thank you !

Seems opensc 0.17.0 is the newest version.
Also 64-bit has this version, see:
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/comm … 64/opensc/
I would ask upstream directly:

The crucial changes for ID-cards were performed here
https://github.com/OpenSC/OpenSC/pull/1158
And when I pulled from https://github.com/OpenSC/OpenSC, these patches were already available there. I dont know much about opensc versioning, maybe it's ok to release 0.17.0-2 (as the current one is 0.17.0-1) ?
But in same time the link to sources provided https://github.com/OpenSC/OpenSC/wiki doesn't have these patches.

There is an AUR package for with the current git version, maybe this one suits your needs?

Archlinux32 sticks strictly to the release cycle in Archlinux and upstream.
No features are ported forward.

Yes, AUR package was the alternative solution I previously considered.
Anyway, thats clear now. Thank you !
