I can't update at present because there;s a new icu in testing, but harfbuzz-icu and raptor depend explicitly on the old version. I do have the testing repos enabled, so this probably won't affect anyone using the stable repos, but it's probably worth fixing before icu gets pushed.

Yes, I know, icu 72 made it partially to stable, I fear.
Currently icu71 and icu 72 is an issue, the much bigger issue is openssl 3.0 breaking all build slaves. At the moment I can not build even the simplest package..
The build system really has issues, when something breaks in staging..

Hmm, I just noticed there is an icu71 package shim around which might be useful for me. Trouble is though, if I try to install it it conflicts with my existing install of icu 71, and I didn't think it was possible to install and uninstall things at the same time, because obviously I don't want to uninstall icu.

Yes, that was perfectly clear. What I'm wondering now if whether I can install icu71 at the same time as doing an upgrade which will provide icu72.
Trying that now. It seems to have passed the package conflicts checks now, but it fell over because my usr partition is too full. I'll have to fix that, unless it's an issue like the last time debug symbols got into the executable files.

Felix Yan has documented the transition of openssl 3 in arch64
Dunno if that is of any use to you.

Ah, Japanese, how could I have missed that one. ;-)
I had basically the same list, looking at core and some extra things from packages.archlinux.org depending on openssl.
